Position Title: Maintenance Tech - Commercial Buildings
Compensation: $28 - $30 Per Hour

What we are seeking

Description

The key responsibility of this position is the maintenance and daily operations of various commercial properties, including office buildings, parking garages, and light industrial. The person in this role will strive to provide exceptional customer service for tenants while working to keep properties in good working order with tasks from landscaping to painting, and everything in between. Duties/Requirements

  • Live in a 25-mile radius of Portland metro area
  • Have current driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Have vehicle that can haul small utility trailer preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and go on roofs
  • Work independently and as a solid team player
  • Punctual
  • Can electronically fill out paperwork
  • On call once a month for emergency maintenance

Skills

  • Diagnoses problems and make repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling and exterior structural
  • Must be able to paint interior and exterior of buildings
  • Ability to change and repair locks
  • Have general carpentry experience

Experience/Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-year experience in property maintenance, building maintenance or related trade is required
